2022 alum Esme reports that she is keeping
busy and enjoying life after high school.

 
 
 

Sarah Jarchow (Wilson)

Sarah graduated from ASOP in 2005. After attending community college and earning her teaching degree, Sarah taught 1st grade for three years at a public school in Farmington, New Mexico. Sarah moved back to the Kansas City metro at the end of 2013, where she landed at job at ASOP! She currently teaches math, science, and computers and is the Middle School Coordinator.

Sarah now has a Master of Education in Information Science and Learning Technologies with an emphasis on Technology in Schools.

She was married in July of 2018 and has two cats and a bird.

 

  • Jordan, an ASOP 2017 graduate, has been working at Groom Gallery for the past two years. Before her current job, Jordon took three, month-long courses on dog grooming at KC Grooming Academy.

    She loves her job as a groomer. "I love working with animals and the people I work for," Jordon said. "I love all the girls I work with, but I mainly love all the dogs I get to see in a day!"

    Jordon always knew she wanted to work with animals, but was not sure what she wanted to do. She said, "My aunt told me to try this out. I was iffy at first, but I am so glad I did!" Denise, ASOP’s career counselor, is one of Jordon's satisfied clients and has both of her dogs groomed at Groom Gallery.

  • Ryan, a December 2019 graduate, recently completed his military training.

  • Alec attended ASOP from 2011-2013. He is working for Amazon; has a golden retriever that is training to be a therapy dog; and visits ASOP as much as he can.
