ACCREDITATION

Accelerated Schools of Overland Park is fully accredited by both the State of Kansas and Cognia. Accreditation helps educational institutions improve their performance for the benefit of their students. It also provides parents with confidence that their child's school is providing the highest level of educational excellence.

ASOP's District Leadership Team attends the Kansas Education Systems Accreditation (KESA) School Improvement Day in November 2025, where the team worked on creating
the school’s accreditation action plan for the next year.

State of Kansas

The Kansas State Board of Education is responsible for the accreditation of schools in Kansas. Private schools are not required to be accredited by the state; those that are, like Accelerated Schools of Overland Park, are known as Accredited Private Schools.

The State Board follows accreditation regulations that are based on a model called Kansas Education System Accreditation (KESA). Accreditation is renewed every year. Accelerated Schools of Overland Park is currently accredited with an effective start date of July 1, 2025. Our accreditation certificate can be viewed here.

Cognia accredits schools in the United States through three regional agencies. Accelerated Schools of Overland Park is accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA/CASI). The school is accredited through June 30, 2027. Accelerated Schools of Overland Park was recognized by Cognia in October 2023 for ”25 Years of Excellence, 1998-2023.”
