Accelerated Schools of Overland Park

Accelerated Schools of Overland Park (ASOP) is a non-profit, private school in Johnson County accredited by the State of Kansas and Cognia. We offer a co-educational, full-day school for students in grades 4-12, as well as summer school. ASOP’s unique, three-pronged approach provides individualized curriculum, teaches executive function skills, and prioritizes social emotional learning. We also foster a safe and compassionate learning environment.

70+

Our students come from all over the greater Kansas City area and represent a variety of learning needs. We welcome students in grades 4-12.

7:1

student-to-teacher ratio

ASOP’s low student-teacher ratio, compared to the national average of 15:1, allows us to provide a personalized curriculum while also focusing on building positive relationships.

Who We Serve

The reasons for enrollment are as diverse as the students themselves:

  • Gifted: needing a more challenging curriculum

  • Average: needing motivation to do more than just get by

  • Learning Challenged: needing a different approach to instruction.

A priority for ASOP is supporting students with emotional, social and mental health concerns.
